Anthony Matturro is admitted to the New York Bar, since 1962; to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, since 1963; to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the U.S. Supreme Court, since 1965; to the District of Columbia bar, since 1990.
Mr. Matturro is the senior partner of the firm and was a senior and founding partner of Long Island's largest law firms, Rivkin, Radler & Kremer where he chaired various departments including, among others, general liability, products liability and medical liability. Before joining the Rivkin firm, Mr. Matturro was senior trial counsel for the Royal Globe Insurance Company for over seven years.
Mr. Matturro has tried lengthy and complex cases in all areas of tort litigation including general liability (auto, premises, etc.) medical malpractice, (and other professional tort liability), toxic tort, product liability, insurance contractual liability and construction liability (contractual and tort).
Mr. Matturro has lectured and presented papers in all of the areas in which he has tried cases and regularly serves as a Master in the prestigious American Inns of Court and has been an instructor in trial techniques at the Hofstra School of Law, National Institute of Trial Advocacy program.
He has represented professionals in professional liability litigation, (dentists, physicians, attorneys, various other health providers, architects, engineers and others), corporate, state and municipal parties and persons from all walks of life.
Mr. Matturro is a graduate of the St. John's University School of Law and is a member of the American, New York State, Washington, D.C. and Nassau County Bar Associations. He is listed in WHO'S WHO in AMERICAN LAW.
